Abyssinian kale

Description: Annual oil crop from Brassicaceae family. Suitable for dry conditions, 50–80 cm tall. Flowering time is from second decade of June until the end of June. Thousand grain weight is 6–7 grams. Average oil content is 36% in d.m. High portion of erucic acid (50–55%).

Advantages: suitable for dry regions for non-traditional oil composition, intercrop and feed source for pollinators.
