WORKSHOPS ON LONG-TERM AGRICULTURAL EFFECTS ON SOILS, AS THE NATURAL RESOURCES OF SUSTAINABILITY

Coordinator: University of Debrecen (Research Institute of Nyíregyháza) – Debrecen, Hungary

Partners:

  1. Agricultural Research, Ltd. - Troubsko, Czech Republic
  2. University of Agriculture in Krakow – Krakow, Poland
  3. National Agriculture and Food Centre – Lužianky, Slovakia

Funding organization: Visegrad Fund
Time of solving: 02/10/2017-28/09/2018
Aim of the project: The project focuses on long-term agricultural experiments therefore the main objective of the project is a knowledge exchange and the intensification of co-operation among the researchers of the V4 countries dealing with long-term agricultural experiments. All of the experiments are unique in Europe and the results achieved from them could be the basic information for sustainable agriculture.

Planned workshops:

  1. Changes in soil physical and chemical properties in a long-term experiment: effect of soil cultivation methods. Agrotechnical methods in cultivation of perennial energetic plants (Slovakia)
  2. Effects of different soil cultivation methods on physical, chemical and biological properties of soil (Czech Republic)
  3. Studies of soil properties under the long-term organic and conventional farming in the mountain conditions of southern Poland (Poland)
  4. Sustainable land use based on Westsik long-term experiment with emphasis on P and K cycle. Waste utilisation possibilities in agriculture, focused on long-term application of composted sewage sludge (Hungary)

Workshop Effects of different soil cultivation methods on physical, chemical and biological properties of soil ínvitation, which be held in Troubsko 2018 March 20th-21st .
