Description:

  • Annual species from family Fabaceae, suitable for dry conditions. 
  • Plant growth habit is 35 cm high. Inflorescence has oblong head, is woolly and hairy, coloured white to pink.
  • Seedpods have 1 seed.
  • Flowering time is June–July.
  • 1000-seed weight is 0.4502 g.

 

Utilization:

  • Suitable for dry regions as a constituent of flowering mixtures and as source of feed for pollinators.

Agronomical characteristics:

  • Sowing rate 5–10 kg/ha. 
  • Depth of sowing very flat.
