Summary

The aim of the project was to use waste sulphur. The intention was to create new fertilisers based on organic and mineral fertilisers. The sulphur content in soils is currently deficient, which leads to poorer soil quality and also to reduced yields and lower crop quality. By testing various combinations of sulphur with organic matter, the effect of this sulphur is increased. Combinations of sulphur and various fertilisers and different concentrations of both sulphur and fertilisers were tested. A fertiliser was achieved that increases the sulphur content in the soil and the sulphur content in plants. We verified hypotheses using proven technologies and demonstrated their use in agriculture.
