Summary

The aim is to verify the use of carbon additives in livestock feed and bedding to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and stabilize nutrients and organic carbon in farm waste. This valorized waste will be used to produce higher-quality fertilizers with lower emissions, stabilized nutrients and organic carbon. Applying these fertilizers will improve soil organic matter content, quality, and stability, reduce soil emissions, and support long-term carbon sequestration, helping mitigate global climate change. The results of the project will be utilized by state institutions in certifying strategies and methods for carbon capture and in evaluating the effectiveness of antiemission measures, as well as in updating national and sectoral strategies in the field of climate protection.
