Aim of research:

molecular biology and genetics

• molecular-genetic markering of the important legumes properties to relevant pathogens (e.g. BYMV, Fusarium spp.)
• study of genetic diversity – molecular markers measure variability directly on molecular basis
• genetic diversity study of plants and living beings
• isolation of important fungal plant pathogens at the DNA level, molecular determination and study (mainly Fusarium spp. genus)
• mechanisms of insect resistance against selected insecticides
